Article Processing Charges (APC)

 At JENMAS, we are committed to supporting global research dissemination, especially for early-career researchers and authors from regions with limited funding opportunities. The details of the applicable fees, discounts, and waivers are provided below.

 Standard Article Processing Charge (APC)

400 USD per accepted manuscript

This fee covers the cost of professional peer-review management, editorial processing, digital archiving, plagiarism checks, and open-access hosting.

 Limited-Time Discounts & Waivers

·         100% APC Waiver

All manuscripts submitted on or before 31 December 2026 will receive a full waiver (0 USD).

·         50% APC Discount

Manuscripts submitted between 1 January 2027 – 31 December 2027 are eligible for a 50% discount (APC = 200 USD).

These promotional waivers reflect our commitment to supporting the research community during the journal’s launch phase.

 Waivers for Low- and Middle-Income Countries (LMICs)

To promote inclusive scientific publishing, JENMAS offers partial or full APC waivers on a case-by-case basis for manuscripts in which the corresponding author is affiliated with a Low- or Middle-Income Country, as defined by internationally recognized economic classifications (e.g., World Bank country lists).

Authors may request a waiver at the time of manuscript submission.
Waiver decisions are independent of editorial evaluation to ensure fairness and integrity of the peer-review process.

Reviewer Recognition and APC Disount Policy

As part of our committement to recognizing the time and expertise contributed by peer reviewers, the journal offers reviewer recognition coupons to reviewers who complete timely, thorough, and contructive peer reviews.

These reviewer coupons may be used to obtain a partial discount on the APC for a futre manuscript submitted to the journal, subject to the jounal's APC policies and applicable terms. Coupons are non-transferable, and may be time-limited, and cannot be combined with other discounts uless explicitly stated.

The provision of reviewer coupns is intended solely as gesture of appreciation and does not influence editorial decisions. All manuscripts are assessed independently through the journal's standard peer-review process, and the granting or use of APC discounts has no bearing on acceptance, rejection, or editorial evaluation. 

Important Notes

  • APCs are only charged after a manuscript is accepted following peer review.
  • The editorial evaluation process is strictly independent of the APC waiver/discount decision.
  • Waivers and discounts do not influence acceptance or editorial outcomes.
  • JENMAS is committed to ethical publication practices aligned with COPE, OASPA, DOAJ, and international indexing standards.
  • There are no additional fees (no submission fee, no page charges, no extra charges for color, figures, or supplementary data).

 How to Request a Waiver

Authors seeking a waiver should submit a short request during manuscript submission, including:

  • Country and institutional affiliation
  • Funding availability
  • Reason for waiver request

The waiver decision will be communicated prior to APC invoicing.

 Payment Method

Invoices are emailed shortly after acceptance to the payment contact provided by the authors. Only official invoices issued by JENMAS (@jenmas.com) are valid. We do not authorize any third party to collect the APCs. JENMAS is the sole service provider and cannot be held liable for actions by third parties.

Payment by Credit Card is the preferred payment method. We accept payments in Euros (EUR), US Dollars (USD), Pounds Sterling (GBP), Japanese Yen (JPY), Swiss francs (CHF), and Canadian Dollars (CAD) via VISA, MasterCard, Maestro, American Express, Diners Club, Discover and China UnionPay.
