JENMAS Peer Review Policy

JENMAS focuses on rapid publication without compromising paper quality. The submitted paper must fall within the journal's scope.

1. Manuscript Submission & Pre-Check (Administration Office)

·       Completeness of manuscript (figures, tables, references, metadata)

·       Author information and conflicts of interest

·       Ethical statements (funding, data availability)

·       Plagiarism scan

2. Editors Initial Screening

·       Fits journal scope (materials, sustainability, energy)

·       Sound methodology; clear experimental procedures

·       Adequate literature justification

·       Ethical compliance

·       English clarity is sufficient for review

3. Peer-Review Process

·       Single-blinded peer-review process

·       Minimum two reviewers are required to make a decision

·       Reviewers will have 14 days from the date of acceptance to complete the review process

4. Editor Decision After Review

·       Reviewer comments are constructive and professional

·       Authors are given clear revision guidance

·       Decision is consistent with journal policy

·       No bias or conflict of interest influences the outcome

·       If reviewers provide conflicting recommendations, the editor may invite an additional reviewer or make a decision based on editorial judgment.

5. Revision Process

Accept:

·        The paper is accepted

Major Revision:

·        Authors are given 15–20 days

·        Editor re-checks

·        Reviewers may re-evaluate (optional, based on the editor's judgment)

Minor Revision:

·        Authors given 7–14 days

·        Editor verifies corrections

·        Review again if required

Reject:

·        The paper is rejected

6. Final Acceptance Criteria

For acceptance, a manuscript must:

·        Demonstrate sound science

·        Present clear, reproducible methods

·        Report accurate and ethical data

·        Fit the journal's thematic areas

·        It should be written clearly enough for international readers

·        Have addressed all reviewer concerns

7. Post-Acceptance Quality Control

Conducted by the editorial office before production:

·        Final plagiarism check

·        Reference/citation formatting

·        Figure resolution and metadata

·        Funding and ethical declaration validation

·        ORCID verification

·        Data availability statement confirmation

8. Production & Publication

·       Copyediting

·       Typesetting

·       Proofreading by authors

·       Final PDF and HTML generation

·       Online-first publication within 5 working days
