Professor Sohaib Z. Khan is a Professor of Mechanical Engineering and Lead ABET Coordinator at the Islamic University of Madinah, Saudi Arabia. He holds a PhD in Materials from the University of Manchester, UK, and brings more than two decades of academic, research, and mentorship experience. His research profile spans 100+ peer-reviewed publications across advanced materials, renewable energy, computational modelling, additive manufacturing, auxetic structures, biohydrogen, and biogas. His recent work reflects a strong commitment to sustainability, from improving biohydrogen and biogas production to developing advanced materials and optimization strategies for modern engineering challenges. He played a pivotal role in founding SEMS (the Society for Energy, Materials, and Sustainability) and, with the founding editorial team, established JENMAS to support timely, high-quality scholarly publishing.

Professor Ts. Dr. Juhana Jaafar is a Professor at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) and Director of the Advanced Membrane Technology Research Centre (AMTEC), a Higher Institution Centre of Excellence (HICOE). Her research focuses on membrane technology, fuel cells, hydrogen energy, and water reclamation, with over 500 WoS-indexed publications, an h-index of 68, and more than 17,000 citations. She has been recognized among the World’s Top 2% Scientists by Stanford University since 2019, and named Top Research Scientist Malaysia 2023 and Tokoh Penyelidik UTM 2024.
