The world is entering a decisive decade. Energy systems are being redefined under unprecedented pressure. Materials innovation is accelerating at a pace unmatched in history. Sustainability has moved from aspiration to obligation, scientific, industrial, and societal. Yet, despite the urgency and interconnectedness of these challenges, much of today’s research ecosystem remains fragmented, siloed, and misaligned with the complexity of the problems it seeks to solve. This is the gap that the Journal of Energy, Materials & Sustainability (JENMAS) is established to address.
